Truck Mounted Crane(SAIOSH)

A Truck Mounted Crane operator is trained to safely operate crane equipment fitted to a truck for lifting, loading, unloading, and positioning materials on worksites, delivery areas, construction sites, and industrial yards.

The training usually covers pre-use inspections, crane setup, stabiliser/outrigger use, load control, safe lifting procedures, hand signals, communication, hazard awareness, and correct shutdown procedures. Operators must follow safety rules to prevent accidents, protect equipment, and control loads safely.
