Rough Terrain Lift Truck (SAIOSH)

A Rough Terrain Lift Truck operator is trained to safely operate lift trucks designed for outdoor, uneven, or rough ground conditions, commonly used on construction sites, farms, yards, and industrial areas.

The training usually covers pre-use inspections, safe driving on uneven surfaces, load handling, stability awareness, slope operation, hazard identification, pedestrian safety, and correct parking or shutdown procedures.
