Power Pallet Truck (SAIOSH)

A Power Pallet Truck operator is trained to safely operate powered pallet-moving equipment used to move, load, and position goods in warehouses, factories, retail stores, and distribution centres.

The training usually covers pre-use inspections, safe driving, load handling, pallet movement, battery care, hazard awareness, pedestrian safety, and correct parking or shutdown procedures. Operators must follow workplace safety rules to prevent accidents and protect stock, equipment, and people.
