The Lattice Boom Mobile Crawler Crane C38 Operator programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, practical skills, and workplace experience required to safely and efficiently operate a lattice boom mobile crawler crane with a rated capacity of up to 50 tons. This QCTO-aligned programme combines theoretical learning with hands-on practical training to ensure operators meet industry standards and legislative requirements.
Throughout the programme, learners develop the ability to conduct pre-operational inspections, interpret load charts, plan and execute lifting operations, operate the crane safely, and perform routine maintenance while complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the National Code of Practice for Lifting Machine Operators. Strong emphasis is placed on risk management, communication, and safe working practices in construction, mining, engineering, and industrial environments.
