HYDRAULIC CRANE PICK UP AND CARRY C34 OPERATOR

This skills programme prepares learners to operate a Hydraulic Crane Pick Up and Carry C34 safely in workplaces where loads must be lifted, moved, carried and positioned.

Learners are introduced to the full operating process, including work area inspections, crane checks, pre-start checks, set-up checks, lift planning, rigging awareness, travel preparation, load movement, communication and safe shutdown.

The course focuses on safe operation according to workplace rules, manufacturer specifications, lifting machine procedures and NCoP Code C34 requirements.

By completing this programme, learners should be able to prepare the crane, assess lifting conditions, control loads safely and secure the machine correctly after use.
