The Counterbalanced Lift Truck F5 Driver programme prepares learners to operate a lift truck safely and responsibly in an industrial or warehouse environment. The training focuses on safe driving, load handling, equipment checks, workplace communication, and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
A competent learner should be able to conduct pre-start and post-operation inspections, identify and handle loads correctly, move and position materials safely, and park or shut down the lift truck according to workplace procedures. Similar lift-truck programmes also cover freight classification, load stability, storage requirements, personal protective equipment, and relevant safety legislation.
