Counterbalanced Lift Truck F1 Driver(SAIOSH)

A Counterbalanced Lift Truck F1 Driver is a trained forklift operator who operates a counterbalanced lift truck up to 3 000 kg rated capacity. This type of lift truck is commonly used in warehouses, factories, logistics yards, construction supply areas, and distribution centres.

The purpose of the training is to prepare the learner to operate the lift truck safely, legally, and efficiently, including lifting, lowering, transporting, stacking, storing, and retrieving loads. SAQA Unit Standard 242974 states that a competent learner must be able to operate a counter-balanced lift truck safely and conduct pre- and post-operation inspections.
