Confined Space Entry

A confined space is an enclosed or partly enclosed area that is not designed for normal human occupancy, has limited entry or exit, and may contain serious hazards. In South African occupational safety law, examples include a chamber, tunnel, pipe, pit, sewer, container, valve, pump, sump, or similar space. Entry must be controlled because the atmosphere inside may be unsafe or become unsafe during the work
